Join The Crusade!

The Hubbards Carbon Crusade is a national series of off-road running and walking events. It’s easy: walk out - plant - walk back (or, if you’re energetic, run out - plant - run back!). Along the journey, enjoy the fresh air, scenery and camaraderie amongst fellow Carbon Crusaders.

So let’s get planting to give back to our environment and enrich its biodiversity. This is not going to solve the problem we face in climate change, but every step counts. Let’s think locally and take action as individuals, one step at a time.

Our 2008 series began with a lunchtime 'mini Carbon Crusade' in Hamilton, which was held on World Environment Day (5th June). Over 600 participants planted more than 3000 trees that day. To read more and view images, click here.
